Capital Area CASA hosts 2026 Volunteer Appreciation Crawfish Boil

On Thursday, April 9th, we hosted our Crawfish Boil in celebration of our incredible CASA volunteers. It was a fun and memorable afternoon filled with great food, fellowship, and appreciation for the dedication and tireless efforts of those who play such a vital role in changing a child’s story.

During the event, we were proud to recognize CASA volunteer Lisa Mohr as our Volunteer of the Year. Lisa has faithfully served as a CASA for 17 years, advocating on 21 cases and helping each child reach a safe and permanent home with their forever families. Her compassion, commitment, and impact are truly inspiring.
