Advocate Supervisor Tony Pryer to be honored at Savannah Bananas games

It is an honor to announce that our very own Capital Area CASA Advocate Supervisor Tony Pryer is the recipient of the Savannah Bananas' "Banana Foster". Tony and his family will be recognized and celebrated at the Savannah Banas game on March 15th at Alex Box Stadium.

The Savannah Bananas are known for creating unforgettable baseball experiences and bringing families together through the power of sports. In Spring 2024, they are bringing their unique brand of entertainment to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and they want to honor the unsung heroes of the foster care community. Bananas Foster is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to "Bringing Families Together". Founded by Jesse and Emily Cole, the owners of the Savannah Bananas, this nonprofit was born out of a shared passion for fostering a sense of community and making a difference in the lives of children in foster care. Their mission is to celebrate the foster care community, inspire others to get involved, and make a positive impact.

For the celebration, Tony and his family will experience the "Go Bananas for Game Day" program. This program provides foster families with the ultimate game day experience that includes a VIB (Very Important Banana) experience, interactions with the team, and behind-the-scenes look at the show; something very few get to experience! Families have an unforgettable experience filled with joy, excitement, and lots of potassium!

No one is more dedicated and deserving than our very own Tony Pryer, congratulations!
