CASA Honors Volunteers at Holiday Open House

Capital Area CASA honored its volunteers for their advocacy work on behalf of abused and neglected children at the 2019 CASA Holiday Open House held Dec. 3 at the CASA office. The event was hosted by CASA's board and staff. CASA volunteers, board members, attorneys, East Baton Rouge Parish Juvenile Court personnel and CASA staff attended the event. 

Guests enjoyed a photo booth and took home handcrafted ornaments from CASA's Christmas tree. CASA volunteers selected holiday gifts for their CASA children thanks to the generous support of the community. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. Capital Area CASA Association volunteers serve as a voice for abused and neglected children in court. The mission of Capital Area CASA  Association is to advocate for timely placement of abused and neglected children in permanent, safe, and stable homes.
