Serving East Baton Rouge Parish since 1992, Capital Area CASA is comprised of 10 staff members who oversee the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in the foster care system.  Capital Area CASA serves the 19th Judicial District in East Baton Rouge Parish and is located at 341 St. Joseph Street in Baton Rouge, LA. In 2006, 177 Capital Area CASA volunteers served as advocates for children in foster care.

You will have committed, competent staff to support you as you advocate for your children. Our staff is dedicated to CASA's mission and our children and will be there to assist you every step of the way. Every CASA volunteer works under the direct supervision of one staff member, called an Advocate Supervisor.
