I want to thank each board member and the office staff who manage the CASA program for their service. I’d also like to extend a deeply grateful note of appreciation to the advocate supervisors who guide our most precious assets, CASA volunteers, as they conduct one-on-one, face-to-face support and assistance for the children who need them the most.

Completing our mission to advocate for the timely placement of abused and neglected children in permanent, safe and stable homes is sometimes a daunting task, but it is completed with great passion and love by our volunteers. There are far more success stories in the area of child welfare because our volunteers and their advocate supervisors would have it no other way.

The community has supported our efforts financially and physically with volunteer hours on various events. We are extremely grateful to the network of people who have supported CASA including Terracon, Kappa Alpha Theta, and National Charity League. Our in-service training and cultural competence discussions cannot be forgotten for they provide the essential grounding and ongoing intellectual awareness we all need to serve our children with compassion.
